Sescom 5-Pin to RJ45 Adapter Reviews
Great Adapters for DMX
Various Cat5/Cat6 to XLR adapters are wired differently. Once you purchase some, you need to keep purchasing the same brand to ensure that all of your adapters work in your environment. I didn't know that when I bought my first dozen Sescom Cat5-XLR adapters - but I'm glad I started with these. They adapters in both male and female, and also both 3-pin XLR and 5-pin XLR. I now have between a handful and several dozen of each. Our church DMX infrastructure wiring is entirely CAT6 STP, so at every single one of our nearly 2 dozen lighting locations we need to convert CATx to XLR and back. Also, if we have both 3-pin and 5-pin fixtures in one location we need to make up a conversion cable with the correct two adapters and a short CAT6 jumper cable between them. Every time we plug in a Sescom adapter it works. Period.
Good quality
Solid construction.
