What is the difference between this and pro loop connector OPSCPLXL, apart from this one having an extra connection?
The OP/TECH USA Uni Adaptor Loop - X-Long (2-Pack, Black), B&H # OPSCUALXL, include a set of Extensions plus a set of Uni Loops for a total of four pieces while the OP/TECH USA Pro Loop System Connector (Extra Large, Set of Two), B&H # OPSCPLXL, include two pieces.
If you remove the strap pad, the Pro Loop Connectors will attach to each other to form a short hand strap. With the Uni Adaptor Loops, you can remove the strap pad and use one or both of the Extensions between the Uni Loops to form a short or slightly longer hand strap. With the Uni Adaptor Loops, if you want to remove most of the strap, you can leave just the short Uni Loop Connectors on your camera while the Pro Loop connectors would leave the longer pieces on your camera.
