The T-19243C Comparison Scope 2 Microscope from Ken-a-Vision combines two four-objective microscope bases, viewing bridge, and a binocular viewing head to create an optical instrument ideal for comparative microscopy. The microscope's Seidentopf binocular design enables each stage to be viewed independently or together with split-screen view. The inclined viewing head rotated 360°, which allows the view to be shared with others without having to move the microscope.

This model of the Comparison 2 microscope is configured with achromat DIN objectives that minimize image distortions and provide enhanced contrast for viewing unstained specimens. Each microscope base features top and bottom LED illuminators that are useful for viewing slides or macro specimens during side-by-side comparisons, making this compound microscope easy to use yet feature-rich enough to employ sophisticated forensic techniques. The user-friendly design and advanced functionality make the T-19243C a welcome addition to classrooms and laboratories.

In addition to the low position coaxial focus controls that deliver coarse and fine focus adjustments, the T-19243C also includes tension adjustment and a rack stop that prevent accidental damage to the specimen and objective. The Vernier-scaled mechanical stage has low position X-Y controls as well as an Abbe condenser and iris diaphragm, all of which deliver improved specimen illumination and handling. The Comparison 2 series microscope was built for reliable performance and is backed by the manufacturer's ten-year warranty.
