Works well, but not noiseless

Does exactly what I need it to do. I'm only removing a star as the plug is marketed as being noiseless, but there's a distinct pop when switching off. It's not a terrible sound and will be removed by any smart noise-cancellation effects, but I find it peaks at about -5dB with an ambient noise around -40dB while I have an A/C running, so it will definitely open a noise gate. I did have an issue of the shorting tab falling out of place while I had the switch disassembled for soldering. I'm not docking any stars for this as I was easily able to reinsert the tab even after I finished soldering and it's not necessary to fully disassemble the plug in the way I did to solder it.

Better then a parts distributor !

I work for the NYC School District as a Phy-Ed teacher and the connector was needed for the PA sound system in our gym. We tried calling 4 reccomended distributors from the company and none of them had the correct connector in stock. B&H not only had it but shipped it in 3 days making my life and voice much happier. Excellent service and product !

Is there any issue with a click/pop when using condenser mics with phantom power and turning on/off?
