The NYS228G from Rean is a stereo 3-Pole 1/4" Phone Plug. It features a long, die-cast handle with black shell-plating. Its contacts are gold-plated and are fashioned according to the EIA RS-453 / IEC 60603-11 standards. It's suitable for commercial use.

Great Phone Plug, received in a timely manner.
Let me begin by saying this is by no means the best TRS connector out there. The primary reason I say this is because there is virtually nothing in the way of strain relief outside of the crimp on the post. But if you're mostly going to be using these for back of the rack install stuff, these will be fine. And they're a fantastic value for getting gold plated connectors, which will resist corrosion better than nickel plated connectors. I also really like the slim profile. A lot of the thicker connectors wont be good for things like patchbays, because they'll be too close and could potentially break your inputs. I wouldn't choose these for the front of the patchbay or anything where I'd be plugging in and out a lot. For that I would choose the Amphenol connectors or maybe the higher end Neutrik's if the size wasn't going to be an issue. Again this is due to the lack of strain relief on this style plug. But if you're wiring up the back of a studio, these are good way to go. Hope this review helps!
