This self-termination version has a dustproof and waterproof rating of IP65.

This set is compatible with STP and UTP cables having an outside diameter ranging from 5.5 to 6.5mm and a solid or stranded wire gauge of AWG 22 to 28. This self-termination version has a dustproof and waterproof rating of IP65.

Note:
Not compatible with Cat 5 and Cat 6A chassis connectors.

Good quality, but be careful on how you intend to use it

This looks to be good quality, but I cant use it for what I planned to.  According to Neutriks website, this part is only for connection with NE8FDY-C6 jacks.  If you buy this expecting to use it with a device supporting ethercon, it may not work.  This is larger than the other ethercon connectors that Neutrik sells.

Will this connector plug into my Yamaha CL3 or is it the wrong size? (Some of the reviews made me question this)

No, this connector won't work. The Neutrik NE8MX etherCON RJ45 Cable Connector Carrier -Nickel (B&H # NENE8MX) or NE8MX-B - Black (B&H # NENE8MXB) are the type you can use with the Yamaha CL3.
