Watson ADC-3VCR123A overview

  • 1Description

This Dual Rapid Charger from Watson works with 3V CR123A or CR2 rechargeable lithium batteries, and includes two of the 400mAh CR123A type. Individually-monitored channels allow you to charge one battery or two simultaneously, and you can even charge a CR123A and a CR2 together. Charging time is about 2.4 hr for 1-2 CR123A batteries, or 1.6 hr for 1- 2 CR2 batteries. LED indicators are red when charging is in-progress and flash in blue when it's 80-90% done. They will change to a constant blue when charging is 90-100% complete, and will flash red and blue to alert you to a battery error.

Over-voltage protection keeps the charger from outputting too much power, and surge protection shields it from input power overload. Reverse polarity protection prevents damage if batteries are inserted incorrectly. The Dual Rapid charger accepts 100-240VAC input power for use all over the world. An AC and DC adapter are included for use at-home, in the office or on-the-go.

Both the included CR123A and optional CR2 batteries are rechargeable up to 1000 times and feature excellent high-load performance, which helps prevent memory effect.

    Watson ADC-3VCR123A reviews

Dual Rapid Charger for 3V CR123A and CR2 Lithium Batteries with 2 CR123A Batteries is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 81.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as advertised Purchased a charger (w/2 batteries) and 4 additional batteries, something over a year ago. Put one battery in a seldom-used piece of equipment, which functioned. Noticed the power was out on the piece of equipment that had the one battery. Unpacked the charger, opened a second battery, and attempted to charge both the battery from the piece of equipment and the second battery. Ended up opening all the other batteries as well. Only the one original battery that was used in my equipment will charge. 5 out of 6 batteries generate a battery error when inserted into the charger. All of the batteries have been fully unwrapped, and are inserted into the charger correctly. An 83% DOA rate is pretty disillusioning. I am going to toss all of these, and find a different manufacturer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Watson 3V CR123A batteries with charger I purchased the Watson CR123 rechargeable batteries(2)with charger for a Minolta 35mm film camera. I was reluctant at first because the disposable batteries are very expensive. BUT I tried them out and they are GREAT...They came already charged and work just as well with my camera. PLUS I get 2 batteries and a Charger for the price of 2 disposable batteries...I use other Watson chargers and am satisfied with their performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much Better Than Throwing Away $$$ I use these instead of the disposable batteries for my LED flashlights. They don't last as long as disposable but they work fine without hurting the wallet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great! cost of 2 rechargeables and charger- same price as 1 duracell. Watson are good products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A no brainer Got this to recharge the batteries for my scuba diving light. Works as advertised. Definitely worth it since CR123A batteries can be pricey and hard to find. Especially if you're out of the country on a dive trip. I would highly recommend this because the normal burn time for CR123A batteries is usually only an hour or 2. After a few charges this product has already paid for itself. No more wasting money on new batteries all the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from use this & save some $$$ Great little cr123 charger and comes with 2 rechargeable batteries. Pesky cr123's are not as easy to find as AA or AAA and always seem to go bad when your not in a position to rush out and buy them. Salesman (Gary in pro lighting) recomended this charger and it was a great buy! Have 3 photo items that take this slightly off-beat battery and now I will not have to worry about buying cd123's anymore!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely designed I couldn't find the 3.7 volt version when buying the charger, batteries and tactical flashlight so I mistakenly assumed (I know, I know...)it would charge the 3.7 volt batteries, too. It doesn't now I must buy the 3.7 volt version and am stuck with 2 ea. of the 3 volt batteries w/charger that I don't want or need. but it does charge quick and stays charged, too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light up my life... ugh work? Had this for a couple weeks and so far so good. I got tired of buying batteries for my LAPG Tactical Flashlight (it's bright but sucks power) so I opted to get rechargeable batteries. I work on sets as a camera guy so I need reliable power for a bright flashlight. One star taken off because it's plastic and could probably get smashed easily.
