Can this be mounted to the windshield for a small camcorder to point *outwards*? What accessories might be needed for that?
Asked by: Amanda
Yes, this could be mounted to any smooth surface. it has a standard thread for a camera mount. I am mostly sure your camcorder has same and can be mounted w/o any problems.

If I needed to, could I just use two suctions? Like if I need to stick it to a windshield and I don't want it to be visible. Also does it extend?

Hello! Yes, the Triple Mount is great because you can use it as a true Triple OR you can take it apart and use it as a single and as a double. Happy shooting!

The Delkin Devices Fat Gecko Triple Mount will work with mirrorless cameras, or any camera really, so long as it has a 1/4"-20 mounting receiver and doesn't exceed 12 lb.

Is it possible to replace the ball head on this? ...

Is it possible to replace the ball head on this? I’ve heard it’s the weakest link.. has anyone has a poor experience with the ball head? Thanks !
Asked by: Anonymous
I don't have a problem with my two units. I even managed to attach an Acra Swiss style quick release mount on both unit's ballheads. However my camera and lenses are Olympus micro 4/3 - so they are all relatively small and light compared with full frame versions. The largest lens I have so far used on these devices would be the Olympus 300mm f/4 PRO lens. I now have an even larger lens (the 150-400 PRO lens) but - haven't tested them yet. I have the OM EM1 mk2 and the EM1X body.
