No it will not be compatible. You need Sony's proprietary Multi connector (Type3a): Sony VMCMD3 Multi-Use Terminal Cable for DSC with Multi-Use Terminal. Please contact SONY for replacement: 1-800-222-SONY.

More than likely no. This is compatible with the Sony Multi Terminal connection. We are not aware of a JVC camera that would have such a connection.
