Yamaha CD-N500 Network CD Player (Black)

For those who want to enjoy their CD collection and also have the ability to stream audio from a network or a smartphone, there's the black Yamaha CD-N500 Network CD Player. This player offers several listening source choices, with support for high resolution file types like FLAC 192kHz/24-bit and Apple Lossless formats. A front panel USB port provides a digital connection for an iPod, iPhone, iPad or USB flash drive. The vTuner Internet radio station database can be accessed by connecting the CD player to a LAN network via its Ethernet port. The CD-N500 features a vibration-resistant chassis and short signal path, as well as a high-resolution integrated DAC for optimal sound no matter the source.

The CD-N500 is compatible with an app from Yamaha that you can download to an iOS or Android smartphone, tablet or e-reader. Once downloaded, the app allows you to browse your device display to select the source or song you want to play. The app lets you enjoy music from your portable device wirelessly through the CD player.

An aluminum front panel and hairline finish ensures this player will complement any decor and was also designed to match other Yamaha HiFi components.
