Axis Communications P1354 Overview

The AXIS P1354 Barebone Day & Night Indoor Network Cameras from Axis Communications provide HDTV 720p or 1 Mp resolution at full frame rate. They also feature WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) dynamic contrast, and day and night functionality for good image quality in daylight and dark conditions. These cameras support Axis’ Lightfinder technology, which makes them extremely sensitive to low light.

The AXIS P1354 cameras deliver multiple H.264 and Motion JPEG video streams. They have remote back-focus function that enables the focus to be fine-tuned from a computer. They also offer digital PTZ (Pan / Tilt / Zoom). These cameras are equipped with a serial port for communication with auxiliary equipment such as a pan / tilt head in order to remotely change the camera direction. These AXIS P1353 Network Cameras support PoE (Power over Ethernet) for easy installation.

Robust Fixed Day & Night Cameras
The AXIS P1354 Network Cameras are fixed day and night cameras with good image quality, delivering good H.264 performance in a robust design. Superior video quality is provided with progressive scan in multiple individual H.264 streams as well as Motion JPEG streams.
Easy Installation with Focus Assistant, Remote Focus, and Pixel Counter
Setting the focus on the AXIS P1354 cameras is made easy with the focus assistant, which indicates with a flashing green LED that an image is in focus after manually adjusting the lens. Additionally, they offer remote back-focus, which allows the focus to be fine-tuned from a computer. The pixel counter further helps the installer verify whether the pixel resolution of an object fulfills regulatory or customer requirements, for example, for facial identification.
Digital PTZ
All these 10 cameras support digital PTZ (Pan / Tilt / Zoom), which allows a selected area of interest to be cropped from the full view for viewing or recording, thereby minimizing the bit rate and storage needs.
Lightfinder Technology
The AXIS P1354 Network Cameras incorporate Axis' Lightfinder technology. High light sensitivity with colors maintained even in very poor lighting conditions is obtained by a combination of good image processing, system-on-chip development, and selection of the suitable optical components.
AXIS Camera Application Platform
The cameras include support for AXIS Camera Application Platform, AXIS Video Hosting System, and ONVIF for easy camera system integration and for application developers to provide the cameras with intelligent capabilities.
