If a 3 year plan is purchased and the unit needs to be replaced during the first year, is the remainder of the plan still in effect for subsequent replacements if necessary until the end of the 3 year period or is the plan good for one replacement only and then the contract is considered fulfilled?

If something would happen to the unit during the first year, the remainder of the 3 year plan would transfer over to the fixed or new unit. As per the manufacturer, you are not limited to one replacement, I am sorry they do not list a cap on how many they would cover.
