The Interval 4G Waterproof Headphone System for the 4th Gen iPod shuffle from X-1 is submersible to 12'. The case's dual polycarbonate hinges allow you to easily open the case, place your shuffle inside and plug in the headphone jack. Once your iPod is seated inside and the case closed, it is protected whether you're in or out of the water. The polyurethane case includes attachment loops for your optional goggles that thread through the case and hold the iPod behind your head where it remains out of the way while you're in the water. In terms of its functionality, the controls on your iPod align with buttons on the exterior of the case.
The Interval comes with X-1 Surge G2 headphones that are shaped to sit flush with your ear. These headphones are supplied with 8mm drivers that deliver sound-isolation along with enhanced bass quality. Short headphone wires help keep the unit compact and your arms free from dangling cables. Five sets of different sized rubber plugs, sized XS to XL, are included to fit over the headphone's earplugs and provide a customized and comfortable fit. Additional black tree-tip ear tips are supplied with flanges to keep the ear pieces secure and snug. It is purely a matter of preference and comfort whether you prefer to use the rubber plugs or tree-tips.
