Key Features
- Adjustable 12.5mm Prism
- Fixed-Orientation Helical Focuser
- Includes M42/M48 Adapters/Spacers
The Off-Axis Guider from Celestron is an astrophotography accessory used to compensate for tracking errors and align the focal planes of an imaging camera and autoguider. The 12.5mm adjustable prism is capable of transmitting brighter guide stars by moving closer to the center of the telescope's focal plane (without entering the imaging camera's field of view), which is especially useful when using high-magnification optical tubes. A fixed-orientation helical focuser with 8mm travel distance enables precise focus adjustments without changing the autoguider camera alignment as well as eliminates time-consuming guess work when focusing an image onto the imaging camera and autoguider sensors. An included set of male/female adapters and spacers allows the Off-Axis Guider to be mounted with common telescope-camera configurations; including DSLRs, Nightscape CCD, and other popular astroimaging cameras.

question
Is this guider compatable with Celestron's f/6.3 reducer/corrector lens on a CPC/SCT 11inch fork mounted scope?
I have not used this with a reducer, but it should be no problem as it does not alter the optics between the telescope and camera. It simply picks off a small region of the field of view to enable the use of a guide star in the direct axis of the telescope.
