A sophisticated and compact prime, the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC HSM Art is a versatile normal-length lens for APS-C-format Canon EF-mount cameras. Featuring a bright f/1.4 maximum aperture, this lens excels in difficult lighting conditions and also affords increased control over depth of field for isolating subjects using selective focus. The optical design incorporates one aspherical element, which helps to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations in order to realize accurate subject rendering and high sharpness. A Super Multi-Layer Coating has also been applied to individual elements to suppress ghosting and flare for greater contrast when working in strong lighting conditions. Complementing the optical assets, this lens also features a Hyper Sonic Motor, along with a rear focusing system, that affords especially quick, quiet, and accurate autofocus performance, along with full-time manual focus override.

Can this lens be used with the Canon 90D?
Can this lens be used with the Canon 90D?
Well, I purchase this item for my 70D and was intrigued by the aperture and good ratings only to find out that I could not make any sharp images with it. It comes with a calibration tool, but when I checked it was supposed to be correctly setup which means that it would have required me to actually work hard to do the calibration myself with trial and error. I don't think that makes sense at all: you buy a lens FOR Cannon and it actually does NOT work for Cannon right away (or at all). So, not for me and reading through many message posts, it's not a straight forward process even if you try, some people end up saying "it gives me sharp images in this and this situation", sorry, don't want to pay $499 for something I am left along to figure out how it works.
(note: I've owned cameras and lenses for a long time, am a hobbyist that started way before digital, I just can't accept the usability of this lens)
