Works with Superboom

I bought this to replace the same thing on a Manfrotto Super Boom. The old one was stripped and we basically couldn't tilt the boom arm. Despite one of the Q&A's here saying it doesn't work with the Superboom, it in fact does. It seems to be the exact same thing, side by side. It's working like a charm!

Great sturdy boom clamp. Fits perfectly on my Westcott 2-1 boom arm

question

What booms or adapters do you carry that will fit this 1.37 inch clamp?
Asked by: Brian Z.
Avenger C-stands also fit (their largest column is 35mm). Matthews probably as well, as long as they are the same size.

The Impact Tilting Boom Pivot Clamp is not compatible with the Manfrotto Super Boom. This one is, BH #MA123 (https://bhpho.to/3W1gZFS).

Will it hold a 1 boom arm easily or will it be too loose?
Asked by: Boaz
No, that will not work. It is designed for booms or poles that have a diameter of 1.37 inches.

The Impact Tilting Boom Pivot Clamp attaches to a strong stand that has a 5/8 top like most C stands and others. This is some links to stand options, https://bhpho.to/3jWF6Rl, https://bhpho.to/3sh8O7v, https://bhpho.to/3AJNRFf . And this is some columns you can use as arms, https://bhpho.to/3sj2yMs . Note you will need a sand bag for the bottom of the stand and one as a counter weight, https://bhpho.to/3yUfJWE .

question

I already bought the clamp. but where can a buy a 35mm pole or just the arm without the clamp?HELP!
Asked by: thomas v.
not sure if these would be right for you. I bought the clamp for use with the Auray Boom pole kit. The staff in store were great and we checked the fit. pole was loose but i use a sheet of rubber cut to fit as a spacer

question

Will my boom work if it is 1 5/16 or 33.33 mm? It says for 35mm in the specs.
Asked by: Blair
It should be OK as there is some capacity to tighten. You could also wrap some rubber around your boom to make the clamp grip if it was a tiny bit too small.
