It can discover hidden cameras by using a powerful IR principle, which reflects the cameras optic lens up to 60’ (18.29 m) away. This professional grade unit has an adjustable brightness with a bar graph indicator, a low battery indicator, and is housed in a durable metal case. The DD1200 PRO Camera Finder can locate all types of covert cameras even if they are switched off.

Well made, functional, but overpriced

First of all, it works well to detect cameras, even at 30 ft away. This higher end model is not only better made compared to the lower cost model (it has full metal design, glass filter, etc.), but it also uses more powerful LEDs, so it can project more intense light to target more hidden/ recessed cameras. The price is ridiculously high; I suppose the lower cost model is the one to get, unless budget is not an issue.
