The Speco D8WCS 8-Channel DVR with Digital Deterrent and Built-In Monitor is a covert Linux-based unit that is capable of recording high-quality surveillance footage simultaneously from up to 8 cameras. It supports a maximum display resolution of 720 x 480 pixels, and ships with a 2TB HDD.
This DVR records continuously at 60 fps in D1 resolution on all its 8 channels, and supports multiple recording modes like Time-Lapse, Event, Pre-Event (up to 30 minutes), Text-In, and Panic. H.264 compression technology enables it to record at higher image resolutions without affecting the network resources like bandwidth and storage.
The built-in 7” LCD screen allows for quick and easy viewing of live and recorded footage, and makes it convenient to modify the DVR settings by providing trouble-free menu navigation. The included Central Management System (Speco Central) software helps you monitor multiple DVRs from a single PC. The Digital Deterrent feature is triggered by motion detection or alarm input activation. It initiates both visual indications and audio warnings, provided the DVR is connected to optional accessories like strobes or emergency lights and speakers.
This 8-channel DVR keeps you well-informed about the system status and alarm events with text and email notifications. Additionally, it also supports remote viewing on iOS (iPhone and iPad), BlackBerry, and Android devices.
