The sleeve fits my 17.3 laptop with some extra wiggle room. Foam padding is dense, doesn't flex too easily. Zipper appears to be of higher quality than most. I'm very confident this will protect any laptop from the most common household bumps. Definitely use in combination with a backpack or case for travel. Side note, I rarely ever take the time to write reviews. But this company is truly amazing. Everything you buy will be shipped with adequate packaging to protect what's inside. Not many companies do this. The shipping speed is incredible too. Even if you just buy this sleeve alone, it will be shipped in a box that truly protects it while in transit.
