Must have with no METAL hanging that could scratch your camera and will fit through an eyelet then attach a strap. I prefer these over the Peak Design huge clips especially for a small camera like my Fuji X100VI.

Very light and I would not trust these to support anything even slightly heavy or valuable. The regular version is a go-to as I like to remove camera strap if working w/ tripod or in studio etc.

Can these OP/TECH Mini QD Loops support a full size DSLR?

Uncertain because I am using them on a Nikon B700 mid sized camera and I don't disconnect the camera so the buckles don't get worn. However, I suspect that they may be okay but might look a little undersized or weak for a full sized DSLR. In my situation they work really well.

Which size OP/TECH Mini QD Loops, 1.0mm or 1.5mm, is the best fit for the strap lugs on the Canon G7X Mark II?

I have used the the 1.0mm on my G9X MKII for a year, no problems. I think the 1.0mm is a good fit vs. the 1.5mm. I wondered about the weight capacity of the 1mm vs the 1.5mm so I contacted the company. They said the weight capacity is the same, that the breaking point is not the cord, and that the safety factor is a 2.5 lb capacity for both the 1 and 1.5mm.
