Kodak 1738053 Reviews

VISION3 50D Color Negative Film #7203 (Super 8, 50' Roll) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from The only super 8 film to buy Being new to filming with super 8 cameras, this was the first roll of film I tried. It can be used in many lighting conditions and is easy to use. The only complaint I have is that it's a bit pricey, but then again filming super 8 is never a cheap date these days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible For Beach Weddings and Sunny Vacations I love the look of 50D Super 8 film for bright, sunny days. I use 50D exclusively for sunny beach weddings and personal theme park vacations to Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland. I love to shoot digital, but nothing compares to the classic look of this film.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits Canon Super 8 Broke out the old Canon Super 8 after 30+ years in storage. The cartridge fit but we haven't used it up yet. Based on 30+ years of Kodak film experience, I'm assuming this daylight balanced film will be just fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Look at sample clips before buying Great Modern Stock, but lacks that 'super 8 look' so be sure this fits your aesthetic...

i have a kodak automatic 8 from the 60s and was wondering if this would work with it?
Asked by: Anonymous
No, sorry Super 8 50' cartridges cannot fit in the Kodak Automatic 8. The Kodak Automatic 8 can only take regular 8mm movie fillm. This comes on a spool, not a cartridge. The only film left available for this camera is Fomapan R100 Double Standard 8mm Black and White Transparency Film (10m), B&H # FOR1002XS810. http://bhpho.to/1owm0hl.Here are three processing labs that we know that can process the Fomapan R100 Double Standard 8mm.pro8mm.comspectrafilmandvideo.comdr5.com

With the 814 Auto Zoom, will this cartridge correctly inform the camera to not use the filter? Thanks!
Asked by: Eric C.
The excellent Canon Auto Zoom 814, like all Super 8 cameras above the basic level, reads the film ISO (ASA) sensitivity and whether to use the tungsten filter. The cartridge in this case, does not have a lower notch. Therefore, upon inserting the cartridge, the filter lever is pressed in and moves the cameras filter out of the light path. Regarding exposure reading, the camera will see the 50 ISO speed of the film. (In the upper cartridge notches.) In order for this information to be used with the light meter (if you have the 814 and not the 814E) you will need two button batteries. Here are the modern substitutes. Wein MRB625 1.35V Zinc-Air Battery B&H # WE625. If you have the 814E, the AA batteries power the meter. If you have not used this 814, you should prepare before you do so. Here is the manual. http://bit.ly/2sJR6fL. Most likely, the camera you have has not been serviced in decades and I would strongly recommend doing so. One place we can suggest is Du-All Camera in New York. http://bit.ly/2tdtn8B Once you are familiar with your 814 and feel comfortable that the meter and the film transport mechanism is functioning properly, then do a test with at least one cartridge before shooting anything important. Happy shooting.

Where do you get the Super 8 film processed to be ...

Where do you get the Super 8 film processed to be viewable via dvd?
Asked by: Rachael
I personally ship to a company called Frame Discreet, They're the best for scanning to digital. You'll need to get the film developed first before sending to them though. :) Cheers!

The Kodak VISION3 50D Color Negative Super 8 Film #7203 will work with the magazine load version of that camera, yes. This camera also comes in a version that takes roll film, which if the case, this will not work.

heyis film kodak 50D suitable for super 8 camera CANON 310 XL?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes it should expose fine. You'll then have to get it developed and scanned. Many labs have minimum orders. Look into CineLab or SpectraFilm. Pro8mm is easiest though.
