The switch gray LX2 LumaMax Tactical Ultra LED Flashlight from SureFire is a dual-output waterproof LED light built for civilians and tactical professionals alike. A white LED light source provides 500-lumen illumination and has a 15-lumen low-output setting as well. This configuration of the LX2 has a two-stage tactical tailcap for more efficient activation of either mode. The LX2 is powered by two CR123A batteries and is capable of up to 1.5 hours of continuous runtime. A digitally regulated LED light source is designed to maximize battery life and provide a constant brightness level. SureFire's Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens is controlled using a collar on the lamp assembly, allowing the operator to focus the beam for increased light intensity or peripheral illumination.
