Works well with the BMPCC 4k and gets over four hours of use on average with full screen brightness. Fully charges in three to four hours. Best priced large capacity battery to use with the BMPCC, but you'll need to purchase an adapter cable for use.

I was a bit upset that this battery pack needed another cable to connect to my Bmpcc. Coming from Brazil I buy this and return to find it cannot be used without the cable is quit upsetting. I feel the customer support at the b&H store need to more aware of this so that this can be prompted as required to use the product

question

How do you know when it's charged fully? And how do you prevent overcharging?
Asked by: Pierre R.
The light on the dc adapter will change from red to green when it is done charging. I havent had any issues with over-charging. I just plug it in at night and unplug it in the morning or whenever I notice the light has turned green.

Does this battery work with BMMPC?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, but you would need an adaptor... More basic and inexpensive batteries can be found for the pocket.

question

Is there anyway to mount the battery on the cage on BMPC 4K ?
Asked by: Anonymous
you wouldnt want to do that. if you need to do that for handheld, put it on your waist. or gaffe tape it to the rig. or velcro it around something.

question

Hi. The battery works in the Blackmagic Design 4k?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes, it works very well and lasts quite a long time. I'd say 4+ hours of battery life. It takes a while to charge, and I wish it had a battery indicator. But I love how small and light it is. It's much more streamline than a V-Lock setup.

question

Is there a way to test this battery to make sure it's not a dud? When I plug it in using the BMPCC adaptor nothing happens and the camera looses battery like it's not plugged in. I think the adaptor might be bad and the adaptor is really lose when plugged into the battery, so loose that unless I hold it together it falls off.
Asked by: Levi S.
If the green/orange light tuns on with the adapter is plugged in then is is probably working. The main problem is most likely the wiring in the battery pack itself. The cord that runs from the battery to the camera could have faulty wires. I would recommend taking it to a electronics store to find out exactly what the problem is because they can test it, and if they can't rewire the battery themselves then give Bescor a call. They might fix the problem for free. Well almost free because they will charge for the shipping.
