A Great Everyday Paper

On An Epson ET-8550, This Paper Gives Slightly Better Contrast Than The Epson Premium Semi-gloss But The Color Rendering Is Nearly Identical. Some Color Prints May Need A Slight Increase In Shadows Or Exposure Before Printing Compared To The Epson Semi-gloss. For B&W I Use Epson's Advanced B&W Setting With Much Success. No Color Cast From This Paper. The Extra Weight Makes This Paper A Stand-out And Worth The Extra Cost.

Don't go cheap and don't go expensive. This is the perfect paper priced in the middle. And it's thick enough to stay flat. Most important.

I have been using only the Epson Premium lustre paper for a while and I find it leans toward a blue-ish hue. I wanted to try another brand. I have an espon 3880. have you experienced any quirks with this brand?
This may be due, at least in part, to your printer's color profile calibration as well.

How accurate is the white and is there a color shift regardless of printer?
The Photo Luster 290 Inkjet is 110% white and the image will fade over time, unless using a glaze that rejects UV light.

question
I have an Epson printer stylus 1400, and old one . What is the maximum thickness of photo paper that I can use in my printer ?
The Epson Stylus 1400 can handle papers from .003 to .004 inches or .08 to .11 mm in thickness. If you're interested in Hahnemuhle Photo Luster 290, it is 290 microns in thickness. or .29 mm, so the Epson Stylus 1400 cannot handle that thickness. You can use Epson photo papers if they are within the specs and I believe most are for that printer series. The thickness should be indicated on the box or in the specs for the paper.
