The Midland 18-259W Window Mount Antenna has a 17-7 stainless steel rod with a Black-Kote finish. It comes complete with 12.0' (3.65m) of pre-wired cable and all the necessary installation material.
Good antenna that improves reception on WR400 radio. Antenna will only work with single pane glass, a limitation that is only noted in a small footnote on the packaging. This is not noted on the website. Accordingly I'm only using the antenna indoors and it does help.
We live in the country and the antenna on the base couldn't receive a good signal. This antenna gives use five bars now. Well worth the money.
