Specs describe this cable being 13.8, but in reality it is actually closer to 20 tip to tip.

This is a LANC extension cord. The X-T20 does not have a LANC port, even if it is the same size it may not work. We do not recommend it.

This configuration has not been tested by us or anyone we know of. However it has the correct 3 rings so we have the opinion it should work fine.

can i use this to extend a shutter trigger that uses a 2.5mm stereo connection?
I'm assuming you can. I used it as extension for the Canon Remote Zoom Controller ZR-1000 for my Canon XA10 Handicam. It works perfectly. It is after all just an extension.
