Formatt Hitech Reverse Grad ND Camera Filter (165 x 200mm, 2-Stop)

This Reverse Grad ND Camera Filter from Formatt Hitech density begins in the middle of the filter and tapers off toward the edge of the filter. The soft-edged transition of 0.6 density is placed in the middle of the filter to help compensate for bright horizons or other circumstances when the brightest part of the image is in the middle of your frame, such as when the sun is at or near the horizon. Standard graduated ND filters are unable to achieve similar results as the physical edge of the filter would be within the frame while photographing to get a similar effect. The 0.6 density of the strongest part of the ND provides a 2-stop reduction in light from entering the lens. The 165mm size is useable with Hitech 165mm holder systems designed for wide angle lenses. The filter is 165mm wide and 200mm long enabling it to be easily moved up and down in the holder so you can adjust the position of the ND effect to suit your framing choice.
