The 2x Pro Series LED Magnifire from Carson features a 4" acrylic lens offering 2x magnification and a spot lens with 4x power. A total of 16 bright LEDs provide illumination and are powered by the supplied AC/DC adapter or by 4 optional AA batteries. Featuring an adjustable head, the magnifier is attachable to the magnetic base or usable with the table clamp (both included).

I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas present.� She is and artist and is presently painting some miniature figures. She needed something flexible and sturdy.� This works great either from the base plate or using the clip on the edge of her drawing board.� She says the light is great for illuminating her work.� The magnifier is pretty slick with a fine loop included.� Overall this is very well constructed and versatile.� Very good value for the price.
