I have been using this for about a year or more now, and it works exactly as needed. The microphone port on my computer was broken and this bypassed it so I could still use a microphone.

The audio input for my iMac suddenly stopped working so I explored other options and this product came very handy. It converts from an audio input to a USB, it is very inexpensive and it works quite well. The instructions that came with the device, however, are not very clear. I had to contact the company 'Startech' to sort it. They were quite helpful Overall, very good solution for an audio adapter. Furthermore, the first device B&H sent me did not work in my hands: they sent me a second one right away. I am very pleased with their high standards of service
