SureFire X400 overview

  • 1Description

Combining bright light for after-dark tactical activity and a laser beam for certainty in target acquisition, the X400-A-RD Ultra LED Weapon Light with Red Aiming Laser from SureFire combines a 600-lumen, single-output LED light with a 635nm Class IIIb red aiming laser that can be mounted on Picatinny/Weaver rails. The light features a Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens that produces a pre-focused beam with a tight center cone of bright light, and a dimmer ring on the periphery to help maintain situational awareness. An ambidextrous toggle switch controls the momentary and constant-on modes, and is easily accessible with your support hand while keeping a firm grip on your weapon. The selector switch, located behind the laser, controls the output modes and features a lock-out function to prevent accidental activation during storage or when strict light discipline must be maintained. The red laser is easy to see and can be readily differentiated from other aiming lasers used by devices like Tasers. Designed for durability, this system features a weatherproof O-ring and gasket-sealed milspec anodized aluminum housing.

    SureFire X400 reviews

X400-A-RD Ultra LED Weapon Light with Red Aiming Laser Sight is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Must have had a bad batch? I ordered 2 of these through B&H and both arrived DOA. I'm a huge fan of Surefire and have 2 flashlights and have never had a problem. I needed a gun light and liked that this had the laser combo so was excited to see how this would work. Popped in the 2 batteries and it didn't work. I ended up having to RMA both and assumed that maybe B&H just had a bad batch. ........

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its a Sure Fire thing ! Bright light,600meter beam, zeroable. Oozes quality, lots of light, secure attaching, thought probably needs lock tite to be 101% sure. Almost 600 meter beam at night. Beam quite intimidating, though green would be even more so. Good luck with finding a holster that's not custom. The usual professional stuff from Sure Fire. Buy once, cry once. There is a lot of junk out there, this is the real thing. You will not regret it. Seriously, think about the green due to the fact it makes a rather clearer statement about what is holding up the light... ...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from X400 Weaponlight with Laser Sight Very nice product for the pistols that I own. I installed this unit on my HK45 MK23. The set up is just amazing! Maybe the unit should be available for our police SWAT teams. Expensive but excellent product for the high end tactical and defensive use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME This was my firs light purchase for a gun, so I was apprehensive in spending that much money. WOW, this light / laser combo is fantastic. I am really glad I spent the extra for the additional lums.
