The Tilt-Shift 24mm f/3.5 ED AS UMC Lens for Sony Alpha from Rokinon is a wide-angle, full-frame lens fitted with the perspective control and tilt-shift functions. A tilt-shift lens allows the user to control perspective and correct convergence of lines within your frame, useful especially in architecture, landscape and product photography. The optical tilt mechanisms enable precise control of depth of field along with perspective control. It is compatible with both digital and film formats with an angle of view of 83.5º and on an APS-C size sensor has an angle of view of 59.9º and focal length equivalent of 36mm.

The tilt-shift section of the lens rotates left 90º (click-stop adjustment each 30º) and the lens mount can rotate left or right by 90º (click-stop adjustment each 30º).

The lens is comprised of 16 elements in 11 groups, including two aspherical lenses and two Enhanced Dispersion (ED) lenses, which reduce aberrations and provide sharp details and accurate color separation. Multi-layered, anti-reflective UMC coating on each lens element allow even light transmission, minimizing flares and ghosting.

question

Can I use it on my Sony A6000, through Sony A-mount to E-mount adapter, (LEA4 model)..? Thanks in advance
Asked by: Anonymous
Hi,I did not tried this lens camera combination, but Ive used Sony A lens on the A6000 with an earlier version LE adapter and it worked just fine. Since the TS lens has no electrical contacts at all it should be used in a manual stop down mode. The only issue is if the A6000 should be moved to a No lens mode or the adapter will foil this mode (and I think that it would not).PS I going to use this TS on an Sony A camera moved to No lens mode

question

Will you carry the lens for Sony E-mount?
Asked by: Anonymous
In general, the manufacturers would not inform us of any plans to introduce a new model until an official announcement has been made. With that said, any new items that we will begin carrying will be announced through our e-mail newsletter.

question

Can I use this tilt-shift lens on a Sony Alpha NEX mirror-less camera?
Asked by: Anonymous
The Rokinon Tilt-Shift 24mm f/3.5 ED AS UMC Lens for Sony has the Sony Alpha/Minolta Maxxum mount, which is different than the Sony E-mount. So, this lens would not be compatible with the NEX series cameras.
