The PVS7-2 Gen 2 Night Vision Biocular from ATN is a dual-ocular NVD designed for close-range observations. Since the operator is enabled to keep both eyes open, a biocular design is more comfortable for long-duration viewing than a monocular device. This configuration of the monocular features a Gen 2 image intensifier that delivers 40lp/mm typical resolution and 12-20:1 signal-to-noise performance. The PVS7 features Automatic Brightness Control and Bright Light Cut-Off circuitry that adjust the image in dynamic lighting conditions, and help protect the operator's eye and the unit from excessive brightness.

The 26mm lens system transmits a 40° angle of view that maximizes situational awareness. Combined with its wide viewing angle and bright f/1.2 optics, the included flip-up headgear helps make the PVS7 well-suited for home security and night hikes. This biocular also features adjustable diopter and interpupillary distance for enhanced viewing comfort. A built-in infrared illuminator, Proshield protective lens coating, and waterproof housing equip the PVS7 for a range of tactical and recreational tasks.
