The PS22-WPT Front Mounted Night Vision System from ATN is an accessory optic used to transform a day scope into a night vision targeting system. This This configuration of the PS22 uses ATN's White Phosphor Technology (WPT) intensifier tube, which delivers resolution and signal-to-noise performance comparable to Gen 2 intensifier tubes. Instead of the conventional green night vision image, WPT tubes transmit a grayscale image that provides more contrast and depth than conventional NVDs with comparable resolution. Like Gen 2 tubes, the WPT tube features automatic brightness control for optimized image brightness, as well as bright light cut off circuitry to protect the tube from excessive light levels.
