The black Kramer Wall Plate is a one-gang wall plate insert with a female HDMI at the front and a cable with a female HDMI connector at the rear. It also has a pass-through VGA connector and an 1/8" jack for unbalanced analog stereo audio.

What size mud ring would be used?
The picture shown is the old style. They actually changed the design to a 1G wall plate! Uses a standard Carlon low voltage 1 gang box or old work frame (orange color). See Kramer's site for new design. Same part number.
