The Power2000 AC-BLC12 AC Adapter and DC Coupler Kit is a replacement for the Panasonic DMW-DCC8GU DC coupler and includes an AC adapter to enable continuous, direct power from an AC power source. This allows use of a camera for extended periods of time without draining the camera's battery.

Has there been any issues with audio noise with this product?

No problems for me. I suspect that maybe the ac adapter isn't filtering properly (possible product defect) or something in the recording environment is creating the noise. Have to see for myself to be sure.

Picking up a hum from any microphone is common, and usually a problem most audio engineers actively try to remove or limit. If you are asking if this Power2000 AC-BLC12 AC Adapter and DC Coupler Kit produces a hum, it should not, the coupler kit and cables should remain completely silent to human ears.

Will this dc coupler allow me to use a v-mount battery or is it wall outlet only?

The Lumix BLC12PP battery outputs 7.2V nominal. V-mount batteries typically output 14.4V on the D-tap connector. Unless your V-mount battery has the option to output 7.2V, using it to power a Lumix camera will probably destroy the camera! I have used this coupler with NP-F970 batteries as these are 7.2V nominal.
