The CIRLS Model B Drop Zone and Airfield Marker from Morovision is a durable beacon engineered for mission-critical marking tasks. This configuration of the CIRLS is powered by a battery pack (sold separately) that typically provides 90 hours of constant operation using six 9V lithium battery cells.
Highlighting a drop zone for air support, marking a rendezvous point for ground forces, and defining the forward and rear vehicles of a convoy are all tasks that the CIRLS is equipped to handle. An array of 18 amber LED light sources broadcasts a flashing output that has 360x240° coverage. The domed LED housing is sealed with a weather-resistant resin that evenly diffuses the light output while protecting the CIRLS circuitry from moisture and shock.
