5" Hand Grip for HDSLRs and Video Cameras (Black) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid comfortable grip I know it's ridiculous. A review for a simple metallic tube. But it really is a handy piece of equipment that's just good to have in the bag or car. I do a lot of outdoor recording, so I wanted something with some weight and felt solid in the field. Been very happy with the result so far. I do recommend this 5 version over the 3 variety because I think you'd just have more control overall. Recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Complicated problem - Easy solution. Have you ever been using that SMALL and button laden camera and you discover that your settings have accidently been changed by one of your big fat fingers being put in the wrong place because you were trying to get a good grip on your camera? Solution is easy. Buy one of these things, screw it into the socket of your camera and HOLD ON. Works really great

Rated 5 out of 5 by from solid I knew it was on the heavier side, as explained on other reviews. But it feels solid and has a 1/4- 20 thread aat the bottom. Kind of nice touch!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seems good. I have not had a chance to use this in the field yet, but it fits perfectly (thanks to some very good online help from B&H) and the grip is much more comfortable than just holding the camera. It is also solid, it weighs over a pound--but it can take a beating, or a stepping-on, or long drop. You can't break or bend it. I think you will find the 5 version better than the 3 as well--easier to control and counterbalance the weight of the camera.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple and comfortable I use this to help stabilize video on my Nikon d5300. It helps with camera shake slightly and makes certain shots a little easier (holding high above head). It is very solid and has a good amount of heft to it. I like the texture on the handle as well. Keep in mind that this will only help stabilize your video slightly and is nothing compared to a 3-point system/steady cam type deal. You get what is advertised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, simple, easy to use. Solid, simple, easy to use- that sums it up. Whether I put my camera on it or screw on a Square Jellyfish or Manfrotto Smartphone mount for phone pictures, it's simple and easy to work with either way and fits in my back pocket. I feature this item in my video, "EPISODE 1 Table Top Tripods" by PhotoVid Techfreak at 14:00 even though it's not a tripod, because it's just so useful. in fact, I have two of these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great accessory I use this with my EOS 5D camera, which is normally carrying a 24-70 mm f/2.8 lens. The weight and size of the hand grip are idea for the intended purpose. Using my left hand on the grip makes it easier for me to look through the viewfinder and release the shutter in most shooting situations. It would also be useful for larger lenses which have their own threads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very handy accessory I now have two of these. Would highly recommend this size over the smaller one unless you have really tiny hands. The few extra bucks are well worth it! Being knurled and therefore having some texture make holding it very easy. The real plus is having a threaded hole at the bottom, which many others don't have, give it even more versatility.
