The Pro-T and Press-T are flash-rotating brackets. Both are light, compact and fast-handling with swinging flash arm to keep the flash centered over the lens for both horizontal and vertical compositions. These brackets do not require the use of a cable release. Unlike conventional brackets, the PRO-T is designed for you to hold the camera rather than the bracket, for a more natural way of shooting. Also allows you to instantly switch between horizontal and vertical compositions. The PRESS-T is a slightly shorter and more compact version of the Pro-T. Popular with photojournalists and other shooters who work out of a camera bag. Fully compatible with cameras with accessory battery packs or motor drives.

The Press-T bracket accepts Stroboframe anti-twist camera plates for a reliably sure, rigid connection.  Please see this link for a list of compatible cameras.

Net Weight: 11 oz. Bracket Height: 7.0" Nominal Lens-to-Flash Distance: 10"

Pivoting, machined flash arm keeps the flash centered above the lens for both horizontal and vertical compositions.
Solid machined aluminum components combine to provide lightweight, superior rigidity and extraordinary balance. Integral QR (Quick-Release) Plate mates to optional QR Receiver, allowing the bracket and tripod to be attached or detached instantly.
Pro-T incorporates 3° downward flash tilt for both horizontal and vertical compositions. This improves lighting coverage at typical flash shooting distances.
Fully compatible with cameras with accessory battery packs or motor drives
Accepts all Stroboframe flash mounts, Camera Anti-Twist Plates and Quick-Release (QR) accessories.

Press-T Bracket is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 19.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed Weddings, group events. The Press T is well made in that it is strong and constructed of good materials. However, coupled with a Canon 5D, the camera kept coming loose, even with the appropriate anti-twist plate attached. Even when re-tightened, the plate screw eventually works loose every time. This needs to be fixed for sure. I also need a bracket that has a left side handle, but rotates counter-clockwise so that the shutter release is on top and accessible, with a strong grip on the left. Also, my 5D will not mount properly with a grip attached. This is the worst bracket I have ever used.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent product for the money. I bought this bracket and the BP-E1 Anti-Twist plate for an upcoming wedding. I am satisfied with it especially given the price. The only disappointment for me is that when you flip the bracket to portrait mode the flash is not straight in its normal position. It is actually sideways in that orientation. The other thing is that you can't open the battery on the BG-E2N Battery grip when the Antitwist plate is in place. I have actually removed the anti twist plate and am just using the little pad that came with the bracket. One good thing with that is that it also gave me better access to my shutter release on my grip in portraiture mode. Still a good bracket for the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simplicity Used the Press-T Bracket at my first wedding. Product is lightweight and couldn't be simpler to use. Held my 580 EX II all day in all positions. Did have a tendency to move when hanging upside-down from my R-Strap. Just needs a slight turn on the bolt to tighten. Would be nice if it came with the anti-swivel bracket and the shoe-type flash mount (highly recommend for quickly removing flash from the bracket). Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality bracket for strobe photos I started with the Camera Flip Bracket which I still use, mostly out of habit. I have my two associates shooting with the Press-T as it actually does a better job of matching the strobe shape to the sensor. When using the Press-T for a portrait shot the camera sensor and strobe both end up in a vertical orientation. With the Camera Flip the strobe still has horizontal orientation while the sensor is vertical. Unless you are some distance away from your subject, the lower part of you image is not properly exposed. On the other hand, the Press-T puts more of the weight forward, especially with a long lens and is not as easy to hold. The beauty of these brackets is that the sensor and strobe are in the same vertical plane thus eliminating harsh shadows on the side of subject. The fact that my last two purchases have been the Press-T pretty much indicates that I would highly recommend it for best picture quality when using strobe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, Easy To Use I've owned the Press-T for about a month now, and have used it at 2 events so far. The most recent was a class at church followed by a new members dinner. I was very pleased with being able to go back and forth easily between landscape and portrait shots. I also like the natural feel of holding the camera rather than the bracket, and the bracket does not block any of the controls on my Oly E-30, even with my battery grip attached. I leave my CB-05 synch cord attached to the Press-T, so installing it on the E-30 and attaching my FL-36 flash requires very little time. My only wish is that the mount screw was better than the screw provided, which requires an allen wrench (not provided)...but it's no big deal. I also have not needed an anti-twist plate for the E-30 - it holds securely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent bracket! Before buying this bracket I had already used Stroboframe Cameraflip bracket for a short period of time and Newton Flash Rotator bracket. I didn't like Cameraflip because it was bulky and very inconvenient for shooting verticals with a grip attached. So I exchanged it for Flash Rotator and have been using the latter for almost 8 years. The only thing I didn't like about Flash Rotator was some light fall-off when taking close pictures in the vertical format with the flash head set to autozoom. That's why I decided to try Press-T and do not regret a bit now! Besides Press-T fits the a700's grip much better than Flash Rotator. The only thing which was a bit irritating was a bevel edge at the bracket base - it hurt the palm during an extended session, but I cut it off and now it is fine. The greatest thing about this bracket is that the flash head is always in the same format as the shot - now I don't need to think about adjusting the flash head to the shortest focal length!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Press-T not quite there Well built but lacks in design. This is my first flash bracket that I bought to shoot a wedding. I'm not very happy with the design. When flipped the flash can only be pointed straight on. If you're trying to bounce up at 45 degrees, when you flip you're then bouncing from the side, just as if the flash were mounted to the body. Am I missing something? Either I don't see the point or I don't understand the operation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the money I really like the bracket so far. I tried the other type of bracket where the camera changes to portrait instead of the flash and hated it. I like the fact that I hold the camera and not the bracket. The only thing is the bar that moves the flash could have some way of keeping it from moving. Sometimes when I pick up the camera the flash will move into the portrait mode. I would purchase again.
