The Vello Warm Bounce Dome Diffuser for Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT softens the light output of the flash, reducing harsh shadows that are often the result when using direct flash. The dome provides even coverage across the entire frame and is ideal for use with lenses from 15mm to 200mm in 35mm format as well as their equivalent in other formats. Since each Bounce Dome is custom made for the flash, it slips on and off without the need for touch fastener tabs.

This dome has an amber tint to match the color emitted by tungsten halogen and incandescent bulbs. With the dome on your flash, simply set your camera to tungsten balance. Additionally, the diffuser can be used outdoors to lend warmth to skin tones in open shade or to match the light balance of a sunset or sunrise portrait.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Trying something new I have put gels in my Stophen to try to get the tungsten light but stopped bothering. Saw the Vello made for Tungsten and bought it. It works fine but it doesn't come out as far as the Stophen. I like it coming out a bit off the light as it helps with the fill. Less fill with the Vello. It was cheap and I'll keep it for now but I would rather have a tungsten Stophen (do they make one?). The Vello is smaller and goes on and off easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job! I bought this diffuser to balance the white balance for formal events. I set the kelvin to 3800 and put this on my flash. Pictures were perfect! Didn't have to post edit the colors much. Well worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great diffuser This diffuser works great and easily snaps on and off the 600 ex-rt speedlight. It has a great sturdy build quality that's flexible.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be a better design like the ones for 580EXII I don't like how the inside of this diffuser has some grabbing enforcement protrusions on all sides inside the dome being Unecessary and risking scratching my brand new Canon 600 flash. Not a chance I'm risking it getting my flash head I just got it out of the box scratched, not today! I got a Exacto Knife and striped out all of them making the inside smooth and free of anything that will cause unecessary grabbing on my flash head finish.if you're skilled with sharp objects not damaging it, I recommend you do the same it you want a looser fit and still holds well after you remove that. If you mess up buy another. I provided a picture showing what I did to it, after removing those protrusions inside) smooth and still fits like a glove and no chance of scratching. I also don't like that it sits flush on the flash head and doesn't have that extra 1/2 sticking out which provides a better light distribution like a mini Gary Fong Lightsphere. As said, It it stuck up 1/2 inch up, the bouncing lighting would be stronger and more spread. Since there's no extra height, being 2mm from the flash strobe it's like only a gel is there with the flash on bounce position. But it does what it's supposed to do , performing 60% compared to my BH Impact brand that I had for my Canon 580EXII. That has an extra 1/2, not sure why Vello doesn't do the same for the 600 series...
