The myMix Control Software from myMix is a web browser interface located on the myMix plug computer. The myMix plug interface is connected to the myMix network directly to the network switch. The access to the myMix plug Web server is either through WiFi or by connecting the client interface to the Ethernet network via a CAT5 cable. The myMix plug runs an auto discovery routine that shows all active devices on the network.
The entire system setting with all parameters such as myMix profiles, preferences, and IEX16 configurations can be saved as a project on external drives (such as a USB stick with the myMix Plug) or on local memory. When reloaded onto the system, the myMix CONTROL, which is a web browser-operated remote control and configuration software for myMix systems, will check for all individual units and provide feedback on devices that could not be found or are new to the system.
Each device on the network can be accessed and edited individually per parameter, as well as transferred in between myMix devices, as individual profiles, or complete device settings. Profiles can be changed globally to recall scenes in more complex situations. The lock menu allows to individually lock out by using parameter of myMix devices to prevent the user from accessing unwanted functions. This remote configuration and editing software for myMix systems is suitable for operating and supporting larger systems with ongoing set up changes, as in theatres or with production companies, but also allows easy configuration and locking of dedicated functions on myMix devices in commercial and install applications.
