Keep your system cool and functioning with the Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler from Coolermaster. This CPU cooler has aluminum fins and a patented Continuous Direct Contact (CDC) base to ensure that the heat pipes are free of barriers while drawing heat away from the processor. Included with the heatsink is a single 120mm PWM fan that can be sped up or slowed down when necessary. An additional 120mm fan can be mounted on the opposite end using the extra set of fan brackets for even more cooling power. The Hyper 212 Evo supports a wide range of Intel and AMD processors and has a RAM clearance of 1.46" (37 mm).

Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 61.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Camper i7-AsusMB-HAF932case-not overclocked. Something would fire up in the background and I would get a temp. spike. (sigh) With the 212, my temps are in the 70's (*F). Used to jump up to 120. I fire up as many apps as I can and can't get it over 95. Its about 2 1/2 inches taller than a cooling fan. We'll see what happens when I start editing video. You can install a second fan with the included hardware too. (I didn't). I have my fan running at 1800 RPM with the Asus FanXpert software and I can't really hear it. Intall - My old eyes needed a magnifying glass to read the instructions (I'm 62). But other than that it wasn't bad. So if a fossil can figure it out...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This one is hard to beat. I have two of these in other builds and they work great. No need to worry about leaks destroying my gear or a pump failure frying my CPU. Top reviews from Maximum PC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look no further this is the one that works!!! I have an AMD FX 8350 on an ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2 board and had significant overheat issues trying to backup my DVD Collection. Even running the copy process at low speed I had to keep an eye on it or it would try to creep over 60C. Dropped this cooler onto the CPU and I can now run the copy process wide open with cores running 95% + and I have yet to go over 36C. Check your case dimensions this thing is big it just fits my tower. I can now backup my DVD's at a speed rate over double what I was running nothing short of awesome cooling performance!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Update to Happy Camper Sooo... I have a big case (HAF 932) but I am in a very dusty area. I taped a 12 x 12 heater filter on the side intake fan, all the other fans blow out. I used the Asus Fan Expert software to make my fans run at 100% as soon as the CPU gets to 77*F My room at the time was 86*F. I fired up Prime95 which slams all 8 cores of the CPU to 100% load HUH-LO! The temperature only rose to 113*F (45C), easily within the normal operating range. So now, do I install a second fan on the Hyper212? Use a thin coat of thermal grease that COMES WITH THE Hyper212, make sure the 212 is on tight, fire it up, relax.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Optimum This in my video editing system. It keeps my processor very cool and is cheap. The down side is that it doesn't spew all kinds of neat colors, and there is no light behind the logo. ;-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from simple, excellent piece of kit I have used much more expencive cooler than this that were less well engineered. Nice big cooling fins, easy install. keeps temps down... an excellent cooler

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler This is a great Cooler! Keeps my i5 6600k at around 30-45 degrees while gaming. It is fairly quiet. Not noticeable at all when wearing a headset or headphones. This is a pain in the butt to install, but what can you expect from an aftermarket Cooler. For the 1151 socket, you have to move the screws on the bracket to the middle slot which involves twisting them while applying firm pressure to try and get them to the next slot. Overall, great Cooler for the price, and yes I would buy it again and recommend it to anyone that is looking for a great aftermarket CPU Cooler.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gets the job done Does well on a 4790k @ 1.3v. Gets a bit loud under stress test load but during normal use and gaming its cool and quiet. Good price for a good product.
