Yes it can. There is a pre-drilled hole in the back and on the bottom of the safe permit mounting with the included hardware.

What is slot size
The tray (swing down door) is 12 inches wide (inside dimension). The distance from the bottom of the tray when fully open to the top of slot is 3 3/8 inches. The distance from the inner front edge of the tray when fully opened to the top of the slot is 3 7/8 inches. The tray is primary designed for papers and money, but can accommodate small items that fit within these dimensions.
