The KanexPro 12-Input HDBaseT Classroom Presentation Switcher & Scaler with VGA & HDMI Out is an all-in-one switcher/scaler designed with twelve inputs. The inputs consist of four HDMI, four VGA, two composite video, one S-Video, and one component video. Switch, scale, and extend the signal to two high-resolution displays using the HDMI and VGA outputs. The switcher provides stereo audio inputs for the VGA, composite, and S-Video inputs, and supports embedded audio from the HDMI inputs. Audio is embedded in the HDMI video output, or available via L/R stereo connectors with the VGA output (for non-HDCP encrypted content). The scaler also features a twisted pair output based on HDBaseT technology for extending the HDMI output signal up to 230' (70m) over Cat6 cable. An external receiver is included.
Converging IT with AV applications, the scaler integrates easily in various analog to digital applications such as when used in lecture halls, conference room airports, hotel lobbies, restaurants, pubs, healthcare facilities and control centers.
Note: This device does not include a network LAN port. Also, the HDMI output on this scaler will not support surround sound or Dolby Digital 5.1.
