Great bass singer mic

I've used Shure for years and predominately used the beta 58 capsule. I'm a bass singer for an acapella band. I've shied away from the ksm9 because I've heard the proximity effect being very minimal...and for a bass singer, you need the proximity effect. Well, the ksm9hs is perfect. It's not quite as boomy as the bets58, but in in-ears, it's very smooth and clean. And, it has plenty of bass and basically reproduces my voice exactly. Love it!
