The matte black EOTech G33.STS 3x Magnifier comes with the Switch to Side(STS) quick-release mount, which allows the shooter to switch to unmagnified viewing simply by pushing the G33 to the side. Terrible eye relief and huge price tag

These things are crazy expensive, have terrible eye relief, and are very heavy. The optical quality is not noticeably better than a Sig Juliet magnifier that I own. The eye relief is so bad that you either have to collapse your stock down to get close enough or remove your BUIS so you can move everything rearward. I used a friends 5x Eotech and the eye relief was slightly better than the 3x. The mount is very robust. There are cheaper options with better eye relief that will work just as well for 95% of users that aren't worried about it surviving a fall off a mountain in Afghanistan.

I just received my third (3rd) G-33 STS 3x Magnifier & it is obvious from buying that many - really like them. Am getting on in age & eyesight is not what it once was so this magnifier REALLY helps. With the EoTech EXPS series of Holographic sights -- works great. Am very happy I purchased them -- on the negative side -- as with the sight a bit expensive but in the end - worth it

I'm a left handed shooter. Does the mount flip to either side or just the right?

Just unscrew the optic from the mount, reverse it and you will be fine.
