The 60' 2 x LC Fiber Optic Cable & USB 400 FO Extender Set from Gefen includes an Extender and 2 LC Fiber Optic Cables. The Extender supports all USB 2.0 devices, allowing you to extend USB peripherals up to 1,640’ (500m) away from the USB source by using a 50/125μm multi-mode fiber, or up to a distance of 900’ (275m) by using a 62.5/125μm multi-mode fiber. The receiver end also contains a 4 USB 2.0 hub.
By using the included Fiber Optic Cables, the USB 400 FO lets you extend USB peripherals to a long distance from the location of a computer. It provides an EMI (Electromagnetic Interference)-free solution for USB extension. The included 2 LC-terminated Fiber Optic Cables are used to link the sender to the receiver. Each Fiber Optic Cable measures 60' (18.28m) in length.
