The JVC GM-552D 55" Industrial Grade 16:9 HD LCD Monitor is a 4000:1 high-contrast LED-backlit display designed for 24/7 operation in broadcast, studio, digital signage, and security applications (the settings menu includes image settings useful for security applications). A comprehensive set of connections is conveniently arranged in a single row on the rear panel and includes SDI and an RS232 input and output. Having an RS232 output as well as an input allows daisy-chaining additional units. The monitor can be positioned in landscape or portrait mode, and the "JVC" logo is designed removable for if you do set up in portrait mode. The outer frame is made fully out of metal for maximum durability. The display's lifetime is 50,000 hours; power saving features will further stretch this number.
Resolution is full HD 1920 x 1080 and brightness 450 nit. The viewing angle is a wide 178°. The aspect ratio is widescreen 16:9. Two 1.5W speakers are built-in and audio can be output by RCA or headphone-jack outputs. A remote control and a stand are included. The stand consists of two parts that each very neatly and unobtrusively attach to one side of the monitor.
The monitor can be used in portrait or landscape mode, and the JVC logo is conveniently removable.
Color temperature, brightness, contrast, and backlight are all individually adjustable, and common presets are already integrated.
