Does the sound card support stereo microphone input?
The input on this is NOT stereo. The description stating 2 x 0.14 (3.5 mm) mini-jack (3 position) female might indicate that it is and the answer in this Q&A may say that it is but it is NOT stereo INPUT. I tested on two separate computers with soundcards that are stereo and this one failed both tests. Other than that it is a good device.

As long as the USB on the KVM switch is not for keyboard and mouse only, and it could function as a hub as well, there should be no reason it does not work.
