Porta Brace CAR-2CAM Overview

Styled in black with gray accents, this Cargo Case Camera Edition from Porta Brace holds an assembled pro video camera measuring up to 16.5" long in its 9"-tall main compartment. It can also be used to carry a full DSLR camera kit. This bag has two exterior padded side pockets, two exterior flat zippered pockets, and two interior slip pockets for storing additional gear.

Use the included padded Camera Cradle to protect your DSLR, mirrorless, or camcorder in the case. A Camcorder Cinch strap enables you to tie down your camera in the case, preventing it from bouncing while in motion. A detachable divider, a removable microphone pocket, a 4" lens cup, and a PB-B9 stuff sack are also included with the Cargo Case. A semi-rigid interior foam core provides soft, protective padding for your gear.

Constructed with a 1000D Cordura nylon exterior, the case's skid-resistant waterproof bottom enables you to set it down outside without fear of getting the contents wet. Cargo case features include reverse zippers that are sewn-in upside down for added durability. The zipper pulls are moved back to the top and function normally. Carry this made-in-the-USA bag using the removable shoulder strap or the suede-grip top handles.

question

No top padding?
Asked by: Mark
Like the others have said, no top padding. Mine just arrived yesterday from B&H. I got it for the Canon XC15. Lots of room and I can safely put it in the case with the MA-400 Microphone Adapter attached, which is what I was wanting to do. To protect my camera, I think I might take the PB-B9 Stuff Sack that is included with the case and put soft padding material in it and put that on top of my camera when it is in the case. It fits perfectly to protect it. I'll just buy the (3) pack of BP-B9 Stuff Sacks B&H has listed, since they are handy to have for small items.Great Case though. A real quality piece that should last for many years.

question

Can this hold the Ursa Mini 4.6k?
Asked by: Anonymous
I use it with my Ursa Mini Pro, and I believe the 4.6K mini should have the same dimensions. The bag is semi-snug on the sides if you have the side handle on, but nothing concerning. I also have enough space for two V-Mount batteries in addition to the camera body with a short lens attached plus the storage of the top and two small side pockets as well. Not bad for minimal setups, bigger bags could get really heavy fast, so this is a nice size in my opinion.

question

Will this fit a built-up C200?
Asked by: Colin B.
Depends on how built-up, but I'd say yes. Understand that it's a big empty box kind of case, so my only concern with the C200 would be that you'd have enough of those velcro dividers to keep it secure. I actually bought it for a smaller camera and found it too large.

question

Will the Canon c200 fit inside with the zipper closed?
Asked by: Patrick H.
I have a Canco C100 and it does fit inside with the zipper closed. Is it the perfect bag for this camera? Maybe not - but it works and has room for other components.
