The AK DMS 3U Adapter Cable from Schoeps is used with the Schoeps "Surround Sets" for the Double M/S system. An XLR-7M output connector carries the signals from all three microphones (front mid, figure-8 and rear mid); the AK DMS 3U then splits the three signals out again.

Could this also be used with a Sennheiser DMS rig ...
Could this also be used with a Sennheiser DMS rig (with 2 MKH8040s and an MKH30) in a Cinela Pianissimo blimp? I assume so but didn't know if length would be an issue.
In theory the Schoeps AK DMS 3U Adapter Cable could also work with a Sennheiser DMS rig, if that rig also summed the microphone signals into a 7-Pin XLR male output connection.
